Salesforce for Your Mission

Proactive support, ongoing optimization, and expert guidance from a team that stays — so the people who learn your org are the people who keep supporting it.

BIT is Salesforce’s only approved training provider for professionals with disabilities.

There are only two organizations with accessibility professionals who are also Salesforce Certified, and those are Salesforce and BIT.

Expertise that stays put

When you work with BIT, you get a dedicated team that stays with you. BIT knows best practices, we even help set them.

Continuity is the product

Our client-first approach contributes to industry-leading low attrition, giving your team confidence that the person who learned your organization is the same person continuing to support it.

Our managed services staff stay — on our team, and on your account. Many have supported the same clients for years. Your admins work with named people rather than a queue, and those people carry the history of every decision made in your environment.

That continuity is what makes the rest of it work. Proactive support requires knowing what normal looks like in your org. Optimization requires knowing why the last configuration choice was made.

Everyone on your account is certified

Not the engagement lead. Everyone. Every BIT team member who touches your environment holds one or more Salesforce certifications.

That depth changes how support feels day to day. Your question goes to whoever’s available rather than whoever’s the one person who understands your org, and there’s no queue forming behind a single expert when something urgent lands.

Rocket fuel for your mission

In 2024 the U.S. Department of Education awarded BIT an $8 million, five-year Disability Innovation Fund grant. It underwrites our work, which means qualifying engagements are substantially subsidized — often well below what a commercial provider can offer for a certified team.

For mission-driven organizations, that’s the whole point. Every dollar you don’t spend on Salesforce overhead is a dollar that goes back to the work you actually exist to do. Your Salesforce investment should accelerate your mission, not compete with it for budget.

Moving to BIT

Changing providers shouldn’t mean starting over. We begin by documenting what’s already in your org — the configuration, the customizations, and the decisions behind them — so the knowledge lives with you rather than with whoever happens to hold the contract. Your current provider’s work is assessed, not discarded.

How We Work

  1. Assess and prioritize We learn your environment and your goals and identify where the return is highest.
  2. Support and optimize Ongoing administration, enhancements, maintenance and expert support, sized to your organization.
  3. Grow with confidence As you change, we keep the environment secure, efficient, accessible and ready for what comes next.

What our clients rely on us for

  • Salesforce administration and user support
  • Custom enhancements and system optimization
  • Accessibility guidance and remediation
  • Strategic consulting and roadmap planning

80%+ of clients renew when their initial agreement ends. Retention is the only honest measure of a managed services relationship. Anyone can win the first contract.

Mission Driven Impact

BIT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a federally registered workforce development program — not an agency. We deliver at the level premier agencies do, and every dollar goes back into building careers.

VisionLink has had the pleasure of working with the Blind Institute of Technology (BIT) since 2022. BIT has been an invaluable partner in helping us customize and manage our Salesforce system to better support our programs and operations. They have also provided ongoing guidance and support around digital accessibility, helping us strengthen our understanding and make more informed decisions. Their responsiveness, and commitment to accessibility have made them a trusted partner for VisionLink, and we greatly value our continued relationship.
