Apprenticeship Program (Career Seekers and Host)
Building a More Equitable Workforce…
One Career at a Time
Blind Institute of Technology (BIT) is a nonprofit workforce development organization dedicated to closing the employment gap for professionals with disabilities. Backed by an $8M Disability Innovation Fund (DIF) grant from the US Department of Education, we’re expanding our nationally registered apprenticeship programs to connect more talented professionals with career paths in technology – and the employers who need them.
Whether you’re a professional with a disability ready to grow your career, or an organization looking to access certified talent while advancing equity, you’re in the right place.

Hear from graduates who’ve launched meaningful careers with BIT:
“BIT gave me the tools, training, and confidence to pursue a career I care about. The digital accessibility analyst apprenticeship helped me prove my skills, and the team supported me through every step of the job search – especially the interviews. I was proud to present myself as a capable disabled professional.” — Ian Guedry, BIT Digital Accessibility Apprentice, Pfizer
“The Salesforce Admin program at BIT is one the greatest blessings of my life. Not only did they help me discover my own abilities, they helped fine tune them to not only change my life, but the life of my entire family. Today I work for an organization that values my knowledge and contributions – plus I get to utilize the solid Admin skills I learned!” – Kyle Lewis, Salesforce Administrator
