What Does a Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator Do?

A Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator (Salesforce Administrator) is a specialist who manages, configures, and maintains a company’s Salesforce platform to ensure it meets the organization’s business needs. Their core responsibilities include:

  • User Management: Setting up new users, managing access permissions, and ensuring data security.
  • Configuration: Configuring the platform to align with business processes and user requirements.

Advance your career with the Agentforce Certified Specialist Course at the BIT Academy. This intensive, 6-week program is designed for experienced Salesforce Administrators to specialize in Agentforce. Emphasizing hands-on, real-world application, the course focuses on mastering Agentforce tools, AI-driven automation, and best practices used by modern Salesforce teams. It requires a significant workload—up to 8 hours per week of labs and homework—and is built for highly motivated learners ready to push their skills further and gain practical expertise in this cutting-edge specialization.

Salesforce Certified Business Analyst

This course prepares Certified Salesforce Administrators to work effectively with stakeholders, uncover and document business needs, and help shape Salesforce solutions. Students will explore discovery, requirements gathering, user stories, business-process mapping, implementation support, and user acceptance testing while preparing for the Salesforce Business Analyst certification.

Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

Elevate your career with the BIT Academy Salesforce Platform App Builder Course. This fast-paced, 9-week program is designed for motivated learners who already hold a Salesforce Platform Administrator Certification and have a solid grasp of the platform. Through hands-on projects, you’ll master customizing and building complex, code-free solutions on Salesforce, making you a competitive candidate for roles like Salesforce Administrator or Consultant. Completing the course provides practical experience and prepares you for the official Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification exam, helping you build smarter and stand out to top employers.

Professional Scrum Master

This course combines foundational Agile leadership with practical applications of AI in modern product delivery. Through hands-on labs and industry-focused learning, students will develop skills in coaching high-performing teams, supporting quality software development, improving workflows, and using AI tools responsibly to reduce administrative friction. No coding background is required. Students will build the leadership skills, adaptability, and practical knowledge needed to stand out as Scrum Masters and Agile professionals in today’s evolving workforce.

Digital Accessibility (CPACC)

Intro to Digital Accessibility, then 14-week program, then Certification, then Apprenticeship & Employment Pathways (limited positions available)

What is Digital Accessibility & CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies)?

Digital Accessibility is the practice of ensuring websites, applications, and digital tools are usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. The International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) CPACC is a foundational certification that demonstrates essential knowledge of disabilities, assistive technology, and the accessibility standards required for a successful career in this field.

What Does a CPACC Do?

A Digital Accessibility Analyst, is a specialist who ensures an organization’s digital products meet global accessibility standards. Their core responsibilities include:

  • Audit & Remediation: Learning how to conduct a full WCAG 2.1 AA audit and plan for the remediation of identified issues in websites and applications.
  • Standards Knowledge: Understanding and applying accessibility laws and standards globally.
  • Consultation & Design: Advising design and development teams on best practices for accessible design and Universal Design.
  • Assistive Technology Expertise: Maintaining a core knowledge of how disabilities and assistive technologies impact the user experience.
  • Support: Acting as an internal subject matter expert to ensure accessibility is integrated into all business processes.

They are critical to successful legal compliance and ethical product development within any organization.
